Anybody who has ever taken a meeting knows that trying to hold the attention of people with BlackBerrys is like trying to teach Latin to deliquent teenagers.

I sat in contemplation of Jackson Pollock’s Number 31 for about 3 hours at the MoMA yesterday for my class, The Gift at Parsons. I did some sketching, scowling, and people watching. This image is the result. When I got home, I used a clear nail polish to varnish the characters/tourists in the foreground. Then I used my patented wet ink-jet transfer to apply a stylized recreation of Pollock’s piece in the background.
