1. I sat in contemplation of Jackson Pollock’s Number 31 for about 3 hours at the MoMA yesterday for my class, The Gift at Parsons.  I did some sketching, scowling, and people watching.  This image is the result.  When I got home, I used a clear nail polish to varnish the characters/tourists in the foreground.  Then I used my patented wet ink-jet transfer to apply a stylized recreation of Pollock’s piece in the background.
